Did you know that this year marked the 60th anniversary of the National Thanksgiving Turkey presentation at the White House? The event first took place in 1947 during President Harry Truman's administration. One of this year's pardoned turkeys, May and Flower, will be honored as the grand marshal of the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Walt Disney World.
