The Milwaukee Public Library's Central Library presents the exhibit "Welcome to the Menomonee River Valley".

This exhibit takes place on the second floor of the Central Library. It consists of many displays on the history of the Menomonee River Valley from before Milwaukee was a city, all the way up to the present day.

The exhibit includes materials about the Potawatomi before the arrival of Europeans in the Milwaukee area, materials on the Milwaukee Road shops that graced the valley before the Road went defunct, and much more.

The Menomonee River Valley is extremely important to the development of the City of Milwaukee, and this exhibit explores many of its different aspects.
