Mayor Barrett and MPL

In his latest e-newsletter, Mayor Tom Barrett discussed the impact of the Milwaukee Public Library in poor economic times. He outlines how MPL saves the public money by allowing them to borrow books and other materials they would otherwise have to buy.

He also discusses the various classes and services that are available to Milwaukeeans to help them in not only searching for employment but also in developing skills to help them keep their jobs.

Read the newsletter to find out more about what the library has to offer you in these challenging economic times.

The positive impact of libraries, particularly MPL, on the public in tough economic times has been also covered in the news by CBS Channel 58.
