Krug Rare Books Room Series Continues

MPL is the only library in Wisconsin to own a copy of Hypnerotomachia Poliphili, a romance by Francesco Colonna and a famous example of early printing. Join researcher Stefano Questioli for a program entitled “Hypnerotomachia Poliphili – A Hieroglyphic of the Renaissance”. Learn about the authorship, language and intent of this book – which translates to 'Poliphili’s Strife of Love in a Dream' – published in Venice in 1499.
