ACT is an acronym for "American College Test". The ACT is a test to determine a high school graduate’s preparation for college-level work. It covers four areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. Most U.S. colleges and universities accept ACT results.
If you're a junior or senior in high school and plan on taking the test June 13th, there's a free ACT Prep Course sponsored by the Milwaukee chapter of The Links, Inc. on six consecutive Saturdays :
