Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District has approved Milwaukee Public Library for funding of the installation of a Green Roof.

Also, Central Library was successful in the application for additional funding to add an educational component to the Central Library green roof project. This funding allows the creation of a walkway and an education platform on the roof for tour groups, as well as informational kiosks inside the Central Library. This is great news for MPL, the city, and the environment!

More details to emerge!
