The Milwaukee Public Library is always looking for volunteers to help support our programs and services. Whether you are a teen, a retiree, or somewhere in between, the library has a volunteer opportunity for you.

Library volunteers can help organize special collections, be tutors, homework helpers, early literacy promoters, English conversation coaches, and more. Opportunities especially for teens include becoming a member of the library's Teen Advisory Board or a Summer Book Buddy to a younger child.
Volunteers can donate a few hours of a week or help out with a one time special event. No matter how much time you can give to the library, it is a wonderful way to serve your community.
