125th Anniversary of Alice Paul's Birthday

Celebrate the 125th Anniversary of women's rights leader Alice Paul's birthday! Born January 11, 1885, Alice Paul led the campaign for women's suffrage that resulted in the passage of the nineteenth amendment in 1920. From equal suffrage to equal rights : Alice Paul and the National Woman's Party, 1910-1928 chronicles Paul's struggle to pass the nineteenth amendment as well as her work on the defunct Equal Rights Amendment.
