While other MPL locations will be closed in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 18, Martin Luther King Library will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Two programs are scheduled:
AKA Financial Literacy Program for Youth - 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon
Upsilon Mu Omega chapter members and Wells Fargo Bank representatives will provide in-depth information about budgeting and spending plans for middle-schoolers, grades 6-8.
Writing to Transform - 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Author, coach and founder of Dream Keepers Rochelle Melander will teach teens how to use writing to make sense of their lives and capture their dreams.
