
On August 16, 1888, Thomas Edward Lawrence, also known as T.E. Lawrence or Lawrence of Arabia, was born in Tremadog, North Wales. Lieutenant Colonel T.E. Lawrence was a British army officer that served as a liason during the Arab revolt against the Ottoman rulers.
