Black Cinema Film Series: A Man Named Pearl

ManNamedPearl.jpg
In collaboration with Blk-Art, History and Culture, Washington Park Library presents the Black Cinema Film Series. These interesting, inspiring films are thoughtful explorations of the impact of motivated individuals upon history. Join us this Wednesday for A Man Named Pearl. Enjoy the inspiring story of self-taught topiary artist Pearl Fryar, who transformed his once-average yard into a wondrous garden. His upbeat message speaks to respect for both self and others, and shows what one person with a vision can achieve. A topiary demonstration will take place during the program.

A Man Named Pearl
