Continuing Education Class For Child Care Providers This Saturday

Call or click now to register for Let's Give Them Something to Talk About: Developing Narrative Skills in Children. By attending this free class at the library, child care providers can earn 1.5 continuing education credit hours, while learning important skills to get the children they care for ready to read. Narrative Skills refer to a child's ability to tell stories and describe things. This is one of the six skills for early literacy. Learn how important narrative skills are and explore books that help develop this skill.

Registration required; call 286-3011 or register online. This workshop is for adults only; no children, no exceptions. Check-in begins 10 minutes prior to class time. Workshops begin on time. To receive credit, attendees must arrive on time.
