Holiday Closings at Milwaukee Public Library

Photo from Milwaukee Public Library's Historic Photo Collection

All Milwaukee Public Libraries will be closed Friday, August 30, a designated furlough day for City of Milwaukee employees.

In addition, all Milwaukee Public Libraries will be closed Saturday, August 31 through Monday, September 2 for the observance of Labor Day.

Milwaukee Public Libraries will re-open with their normal hours on Tuesday, September 3.

While we are closed, feel free to explore our online databases, which are available even when the library is closed.
