Remember When...Everyone Read the Green Sheet?

20 years ago, The Milwaukee Journal ended its most popular section and a Milwaukee institution, the Green Sheet. Dan Chabot, its final editor (1981-1994) will discuss its history and share memories of beloved columnists Ione Quinby Griggs (I.Q.G.) and Gerald "Slightly Kloss-eyed" Kloss, the funnies (comic strips), "Remember When..." photos from the Milwaukee Public Library's Historic Photo Collection, "Your letter from home" and more.

Stop in at Central Library to see two related displays, on view now until the end of May:

  1. Green Sheet display, Mozart's Grove, 1st floor
  2. Peach Sheet display, Periodicals Department, 2nd floor
