Welcome to Money Smart Week 2014! This nationwide awareness campaign, begun by the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago, promotes financial literacy and is supported by thousands of institutions, including libraries, banks and schools.

Get a FREE Copy of Your Credit Report!

@Central, Friday April 11th, 10 AM- 12 PM
Learn how to get free copies of your credit report from all of the major credit companies. Knowing your credit standing is important not only if you want to buy a house or a car, but also to help protect yourself against fraud.
Staff from the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Milwaukee will be available to explain the report to you and provide additional information.
To get your free credit report, be prepared to provide your:
• Social Security Number
• Birth Date
• Address or addresses where you have lived for the past three years
• Account numbers for utilities - gas/electric, cable, telephone etc.
• Account numbers for any loans or revolving lines of credit.
Understanding your Credit

This event is hosted by two mortgage experts, brokers Lynette Jarreau and Illiya Blakley. They will discuss how bad credit affects your life, how to repair your credit and how to understand your credit report.
