blast visorStaff from the Bay View Library will be on hand at this year's Bay View Winter Blast. The Blast takes place Sunday, February 16 from 12-4 at the South Shore Park Pavilion.  Come visit us at our booth and make your own luau visor to help chase away the cold. While you are there, you can also pick up information about all the happenings at your local libraries.

The Winter Blast is a great way to catch up with your neighbors in the middle of winter. The luau-themed festivities are awesome, too: a Hawaiian shirt contest, hula hoop and limbo contests, spam carving and face-painting. A tiki photo booth will be available for you and your friends and family to take memorable tiki-themed photos.  Live music, delicious food from local restaurants, face-painting, contests, and booths from numerous community and neighborhood groups are just a part of what to expect at Winter Blast. See you there!
